Current baselineThe macOS sender has delivered compatible local video and Mac display content to compatible Apple TVs in controlled real-network tests. Public availability still requires signing, notarization, compatibility and long-session gates.

Now — validate synchronized desktop audio

The desktop-audio prototype captures one macOS system-audio stream and fans it out to independent receiver sessions. The next gate is physical Apple TV validation across receiver generations, network conditions and long sessions.

Next — harden the institutional pilot

Recovery

Automatic reconnect and independent receiver recovery without interrupting healthy destinations.

Quality

1080p and adaptive profiles based on measured Mac CPU, receiver capability and network conditions.

Operations

Saved groups, pause, application/window capture and evidence that every receiver is actually rendering.

Developer ID signing, notarization, updates, licensing and repeatable support diagnostics.

Windows sender

A Windows engineering alpha now cross-compiles its Desktop Duplication/FFmpeg video path, WASAPI loopback audio helper and independent AirPlay receiver sessions. It is not included in the current pilot until the packaged controller passes physical receiver, installer, Wi-Fi and long-session validation on Windows hardware.

Managed signage

ScreenChorus Signage remains a separate design-partner track: cloud-managed schedules, departmental approvals, Google Slides publishing and cached tvOS playback.
