Baseline requirements
- A supported Mac and compatible macOS release.
- Apple TV receiver functionality enabled.
- Network reachability between the sender and selected receivers.
- macOS Local Network permission.
- Screen Recording permission for Mac display sharing.
- Rights to display the selected content.
Receiver access
The app includes workflows for onscreen code, fixed password and password-free policies. Each mode remains subject to validation with the specific receiver, tvOS version and distributable build.
Network factors
VLAN boundaries, multicast filtering, client isolation, firewall policy and Wi-Fi congestion can affect discovery or streaming. Manual IP discovery can help in some routed environments but does not override network policy.
Content limitations
Unprotected compatible video files can include their own audio. A synchronized Mac display/system-audio prototype is in active validation and is not part of the current pilot. ScreenChorus does not bypass DRM. Exact multi-screen synchronization is not guaranteed.
